  • Supercomputing India SCI2025 was the inaugural edition of the annual HPC conference, organised by leading HPC centres in India in collaboration with partners, and supported by National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) — a visionary initiative to empower India’s scientific and strategic communities by establishing a robust indigenous supercomputing ecosystem.
  • With the theme HPC, AI, & Quantum Computing SCI2025 aims to foster a collaborative HPC ecosystem in India and Asia. It served as a global platform for connecting thought leaders from academia, industry, and the public sector.

SCI 2025 featured a session on “India’s Quantum Leap – NQM Perspective” with Prof. Shankar Kumar Selvaraja, Prof. Chandrashekar, and Prof. Baladitya Suri from IISc, who outlined how the National Quantum Mission (NQM) is shaping India’s quantum future.

Speakers highlighted vision of NQM, including:

  • Building a highly skilled quantum workforce and strengthening industry participation
  • Enabling deep academia–industry collaboration to build a sustainable quantum ecosystem
  • Advancing India’s quantum-chip fabrication capabilities
  • They also emphasized the crucial role of HPC and supercomputing in enabling quantum R&D, with C-DAC driving the nation’s next-generation quantum infrastructure.

We received overwhelming response — from curious students to enthusiastic researchers, academicians, industry leaders, and international delegates, every interaction kept our booth buzzing with energy.

  • Engaging discussions on FQCI’s HR development initiatives, central facility capabilities, and support for entrepreneurship
  • Fostering new collaborations and engaging meaningfully with industry partners and aspiring academic researchers
  • Showcasing cutting-edge research across superconducting, semiconducting, ion/atom trap, and photonic quantum platforms
